First day in Paris and I love it! The city and architecture is beautiful (and the bread is the most amazing thing ever). However, the only thing is that the weather is tricky to work with, especially since it is currently the rainy season in Europe. As a result, I opted for my long army colored coat, in case it started raining or got super windy. (My friend actually bought this coat at a thrift shop in France, but since she probably won’t be able to fit it in her suitcase, she gave it to me…. which is good because a coat/jacket is one of the [possible few] things that I forgot to pack with me to Europe….). Underneath my jacket, I wore my suede camel-colored vest as an extra layer that I could take on or off, depending on the weather. Now underneath all that, I am wearing a black cashmere turtleneck which also kept me (and my neck) warm during the entire day. (My friend also bought this turtleneck in France… however, this time she gave it to me because she didn’t like how it looked on her figure… which it totally fine because I love it). With that I’m wearing a pair of comfortable BDG jeans [Urban outfitters] and a pair of Adidas sneakers. These are my main shoes for Europe because they are easy to match up with an outfit and are comfortable enough for a long day of walking.
Towards the end of the day, the vest and hat ended coming off because it started getting warmer – but good thing that I had them, it was pretty cold in the morning. Always better to be over prepared, especially with fickle weather!
