Between the days of May 25th and the 30th, I did a road trip in South of France with my best friend! The week was filled with good food, beautiful sights, and experiences. Here is a little glimpse of what we saw on our road trip 🙂 :
Day 1 (Wednesday, May 25th): Arrive to Nice at 10:00AM by plane
When in Nice, we took a free walking tour that lasted around three hours and took us all round the Old Town and Coast.
Day 2 (Thursday, May 26th): Leave Nice Around 10:00AM to drive to Verdon au Gorge
The next day, we picked up a car that we agreed to rent out and drove to our next destination, Aix en Provence.. On the way, we passed through a lot of hiking sites that are situated by the Verdon au Gorge and we ended up visiting a little town and talking a short hiking trip ourselves.
Day 3 (Friday, May 27th): Explore Aix-en-Provance
Early in the morning, we got up to head to the Old Town of Aix-en-Provance; the Old Town wasn’t that big an we got through it fairly quickly.
Day 4 (Saturday, May 28th): Visit the markets at Aix and then head to Marseille
On Saturdays, Aix is known for their markets, so before we left to Marseille, we visited the markets for some quick shopping.
Once in Marsaille, we also did a walking tour to learn about the city and its history.
Day 5 (Sunday, May 29th): Explored Toulon
Drove our way down to Sainte Maxime:
Day 6 (Monday, May 30th) : Drive to Antibes for and then make it back to Nice at 4:00PM to make it for our 9:00PM flight.
Back in Nice waiting for our bus to take us to the airport 🙁
