In my attempt to show my sister Iza all things Miami, I decided to take her to Wynwood – the artist district in Miami. Wynwood is an eclectic neighborhood filled with graffiti, art galleries, and funky shops and restaurants. With new artwork alwaysss popping up, it’s an awesome place to rediscover from time to time.
As expected, it was a hot and sunny day, so I decided to wear my new Minnie Tank (in periwinkle) that I recently bought online from Free People. Earlier in the summer, I bought the same exact top, but in black; I mentioned it in an earlier post when I was in Philly. The one in black was so comfortable, that I bought it in another color (and on sale for $19.99, how could I resist this true love?). To complete the outfit, I’m wearing ripped boyfriend jeans from Zara, a white leather belt from Club Monaco, and leather Biondini sandals – all of which lighten up my outfit by adding white accents.
Accessories-wise, I had on a pair of old sunglasses [which used to be my mother’s sunglasses but now I claim as my own], a gold Vince Camuto watch, and my black Steve Madden bag.
Needless to say, Iza did enjoy the trip to Wynwood, although she did complain of feeling like she was ‘melting’….perks of Miami 🙂
