Yesterday was my sister’s last day in Poland and the morning consisted of our mini mission to get to the airport. Luckily, the process wasn’t too tedious – we took the train to the station closest to the airport and then Uber came to the rescue and took us to the terminal #typical. (fun fact: the Uber cost me around $3-$4 –> fits into my budget –> means that I can #ubereverywhere)
For my outfit, I am wearing a Axara bomber which is army-green (on the front) accented with a silver pattern. I bought the bomber while I was in Paris….. guilty to doing a bit of shopping while in France…:). Unfortunately, this local Paris brand was closing down it’s boutique so they aren’t producing anymore collections :(. While a bit of a pricey investment (even on sale), I fell in love with the piece because I knew that I could use it for casual looks, but the quality and design of the jacket give it and my outfit a refined look! I also purchased this jacket because of my philosophy: it’s worth investing in staple pieces. This is not only so that your go-to items last longer, but also that your daily looks are made up of quality pieces!
Apart from the bomber, I am wearing my BCBG black tee, which I received as a BCBG sales associate and my favorite H&M light washed jeans. On my feet, I have my standard pair of sneakers that I brought with me to Europe – a basic pair of black Adidas sneakers. I bought these shoes with me because they are comfortable for walking all day and adaptable to everyday outfits.
Lastly, I have a Puccini leather bag that I bought while in Poland. Not having a good-quality black bag, I jumped at the opportunity to buy this bag during a sale – originally at PLN 880, I got the bag for PLN 470, which is about $120 dollars! An added plus is that the bag is large enough to carry my laptop, which is great for business purposes. Also, I love that Puccini is a Polish company [that specializes in luggage and leather products], which means it’s local and will be a unique piece once I get back home!
