This past week I went to Philadelphia with my friend Anna and sister Iza to look for furniture for Anna’s apartment and to eat food at the city’s awesome indoor farmers market (Reading Terminal Market). For our day trip, I decided to wear my new Minnie black tank from Free People. Originally $38.00, I got in on sale for $9.99, and it was one of the greatest decisions of my life. It’s super comfortable to wear and despite it being a black tank, the strapped back adds a twist to the entire outfit. I loved it so much that I decided to order another one in a different color; periwinkle :). Along with my tank, I’m wearing a pair of BDG shorts from UrbanOutfitters [that I’ve had since sophomore year of high school] and a fanny pack that I got while traveling Ecuador in the summer of 2015. As for my shoes, they’re of pair of glittery Ked’s that I got a few years ago at a Lord and Taylor outlet store in Jersey for $9.99!! The shoes are awesome and they are perfect for outfits where I don’t want to add additional color with my shoes, but also don’t want to wear black shoes because they are too boring; these are great for spicing up my outfit in those dilemmas!
Coffee break at La Colombe, a coffee roaster from Philly, which also has cafes in NYC, DC, Chicago, and Boston – Anna took us here, because as an avid coffee lover, she claims that it’s the best coffee ever [and it was pretty great]. Also, the lipstick I’m wearing is a Sephora Cream Lip Stain in Strawberry kissed. For $14.00, these Sephora lip stains are my favorite lip product because they stay on for so long and the colors are great!
Lunch at the food market: A “Brielle’ – a grilled cheese sandwich made with brie, cranberry chutney, caramelized onions, and pine nuts [for $7.75 + tax]. Score: 9/10, but mainly because I don’t like brie grilled cheese sandwiches to begin with, but I wanted to try it anyways and I am amazed by the fact that I almost loved it. 🙂
